Who will be the Dolphins QB in 2019?

It is no secret to anyone that Ryan Tannehill will not have long life as a quarterback in the Miami Dolphins, but even so by the time I write this text we have not seen the franchise make any moves to bring any replacement to the veteran.

In opening the free agency market, the two 'best' options for the Dolphins are already in place with other teams. Teddy Bridgewater renewed with the Saints, Tyrod Taylor hit the Chargers and the franchise did not even bring a veteran with conditions to threaten Tannehill's ownership. Still a few options remain as Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown emulating possibly soon Blake Bortles Trevor Siemian will be free. But let's face it that those left over are not the immediate response to the team.

The lack of action of general manager Chris Grier leads us to speculate that team should be thinking about being more aggressive in the draft. But with only the 13th choice and with other teams above the Dolphins interested in picking up a quarterback the Dolphins will have to be aggressive in an exchange not yet seen in 2019.

With all that exposed, the trend is that Ryan Tannehill continues as the owner of the Miami Dolphins in 2019. There are still two years of contract for QB but the team will have no problem getting rid of the player. And with that, the franchise is going in a tricky direction inside the NFL.
